Emergency personnel pull a Ford Escort out of Lake Hamilton Thursday night in the 100 block of Bull Bayou Road. Witnesses said the driver drove the Escort off Bull Bayou Road into a yard, "did some doughnuts," and the vehicle went into the lake, Garland County sheriff's Capt. Shelby Terry said. No one was found in the vehicle and the driver fled across Highway 270 where he was apprehended by deputies. Charges are pending, Terry said. The Sentinel-Record/Mara Kuhn
