Relaxing stretches

Flowing (Vinyasa) yoga stretches are taught by True Alisandre, registered yoga teacher through Yoga Alliance with 44 years experience, at Quapaw Community Center, 500 Quapaw Ave., from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Wednesdays and 10:30 a.m. to noon Saturdays. The class consists of breathing warm ups, yoga sequences doable at home (beginner level), walking and seated meditation, all accompanied by rhythmic and relaxing music. It concludes with a guided deep relaxation, balancing stress relief points and an original song.
