Lane closures on the King Expressway related to maintenance work have been extended due to weather conditions.
Work in the eastbound lanes will take place today and Wednesday, and the westbound inside lane closures will take place Thursday and Sept. 22-25. All work will be performed between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., each day, weather permitting. Traffic will be controlled using barrels and warning signs.
Crews will perform routine maintenance, including general cleaning, weed removal, and drain cleaning along the expressway median. The work will require closing the eastbound and westbound inside lanes within the moving work area.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
