HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- Signs are available for purchase at the Hot Springs Village administration office front desk for members who want to advertise garage, yard, or moving sales.
A $15 ACC permit is required for the signs. The permits include five garage sale signs, which are 18-by-24 inches, and metal stakes. The signs may be erected one day before the sale and must be removed after the sale is concluded.
Garage, yard and moving sale signs are not allowed at any of the gate entrances.
Members should use the metal stakes to display signs and refrain from attaching signs to cardboard boxes, buckets, or street signs. Signs in violation of this policy will be removed, according to the Property Owners' Association.
The POA also asks members to limit writing to the address box on the front of the sign, and to not write on the back or use other items such as directional arrows cut from poster board.
