In addition to its regular summer assistance program, the Community Service Office, 600 W. Grand Ave., will begin taking applications for the crisis program for utility assistance on Monday.
Applications will be accepted from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Wednesday. Only Entergy bills will be paid.
Applicants need to show proof of all income for the previous month and utility shut-off notices must be within seven days from the date application is made.
