The employees of City Plumbing Heating & Electric voted to donate their "giving back to the community" donation of $1,150 for the month of July to the Jessieville Elementary classroom libraries project.
Multiple studies indicate that the more contact children have with books, the better readers they become. The amount of time spent reading in classrooms consistently accelerates essentially all children's growth in reading skills.
Recent studies have emphasized the significance of classroom libraries with regard to children's overall literacy development.
