Carl and Jackie Carpenter, of Hot Springs, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a trip to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. Their children hosted a party for them July 10 at Mountain Harbor pavilion.
The couple were married Aug. 30, 1965, in Texarkana, Texas. Carl Carpenter is retired from Carpenter Heating and Air.
They are the parents of Tammi and DeWayne Bone and Greg and Monica Carpenter; grandparents of Jordan and Jaci Bone, Kassie Albright, and Katie and Karli Carpenter; and great-grandparents of Jackson Bellanger and Kyson Albright.
Alfred and Sharon Bailey Gloria, of Hot Springs, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday.
The couple were married Aug. 27, 1965, in Rector Heights Baptist Church, Hot Springs, with the Rev. Hugh Owen officiating. Alfred Gloria is retired from Triumph Aerospace. Sharon Gloria is retired from Bank of America and is employed with National Park College. They are members of First Baptist Church.
They are the parents of Jason and Lisa Gloria, of Hot Springs; and grandparents of Hannah Gloria and Haley Gloria.
