Dear editor:
I found the cartoon in Sunday's paper (Feb. 8) to be extremely offensive. It showed John McCain telling the president "to get out of here, you low life scum." Whether or not you like the president, agree with his policies or don't see eye to eye with him, you still need to respect the office and calling someone low life scum certainly doesn't accomplish this.
I am disappointed in the editor of this paper for choosing to put this cartoon in.
