Hot Springs High School and the Hot Springs School District were recently awarded grants of $500 or more.
Exxon Corporation awarded the high school an Educational Alliance Grant in the amount of $500.
Michael Benoit, the district string instructor, was awarded an E-Z Mart Education Grant in the amount of $597.04. The grant will assist Benoit in acquiring the tools to keep the teaching of his students fun, up to date and interesting.
Funds for the Educational Grant Program are made possible through proceeds from the Jim Yates Memorial Charity Golf Tournament hosted yearly by E-Z Mart.
