DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Rebecca Drake, of Hot Springs, has received the Vincent W. Foster Jr. Scholarship as an incoming student at Davidson College.
Drake graduated from Lakeside High School and will enroll with the Class of 2019 in August. She is the daughter of John Drake, of Glouchester Court and Cheryl Murphy, of Hillside Place.
The Vincent W. Foster Jr. Scholarship was established in memory of this member of the Class of 1967 by his classmates and friends. The scholarship supports students from Arkansas demonstrating potential for leadership and an interest in community and public service.
