Design services, classes at Casa Bella

Christopher Koch (pronounced Cook) has been involved in the visual retail industry for the past 15 years. His accomplishments include Z-Gallerie, Home World and Habitat Home and Gifts. He graduated from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale with bachelor's degrees in design and culinary arts. "This truly makes his degree unique because he is only one of 25 students to graduate with, when combined, this master," according to the release.

Two and a half years ago, Koch moved back to Hot Springs to be with family and start a new chapter in his life. That new chapter has included joining the team at Casa Bella Decor Emporium. Koch is offering design services for an introductory rate with a three-hour minimum in which he will come to the clients home and work with their own items to make a more pleasing environment for them and their family.

As well as Koch's desire and passion to make homes look beautiful, he also likes to teach others what he has learned from his education as well as from his career. He will teach a series of designer classes, beginning with "What is your true color?" starting from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. This interactive class enables students to collectively determine what colors will work best to create a truly "personal space" for their home. Other classes will be offered that build on this theory.

Call 501-624-2272 today to reserve space for this class and get costs. Seating is limited. Casa Bella is located at 325 Broadway, next to the Farmer's Market. Hours currently are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday but will change beginning in July.
