A Hot Springs man who wrecked his motorcycle Saturday night faced multiple felony charges after deputies reportedly found drugs and a stolen firearm on his person.

Dalton Lynn Lemons, 27, was charged with simultaneous possession of drugs and firearms, theft by receiving, two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying certain prohibited weapons, possession of a controlled schedule II substance and DWI. He remained in custody Monday on no bond and is due in Garland County District Court on July 7.

Shortly after 10 p.m., Cpl. Josh Cannon located a wrecked motorcycle in a ditch near the 500 block of Rush Fork Road. Deputy Clayton Green arrived to assist and made contact with the driver, identified as Lemons. According to the affidavit, Green immediately smelled an odor of intoxicants from the suspect. Lemons stated a deer ran in the road and caused him to wreck, and Green asked if he would perform field sobriety tests.

Lemons performed poorly on the three tests and Green placed him under arrest for DWI. During a pat down, Green noticed a bulge in Lemons' pants and found a pistol below his left hip. The gun was found reported stolen through the Hot Springs Police Department.

During an inventory of Lemons' motorcycle before it was towed, Cannon located a backpack that contained a pill grinder, 1.5 Oxycodone pills, crushed Oxycodone pills and a red straw used to ingest pills.
