United Way of Garland County welcomed its new board members and officers at its March meeting. Michelle Ratcliff and Terry Wallace were elected to serve as at-large members of the Executive Committee. Thomas A. Anderson, Latt Bachelor, Jorge Garcia and Greg Jones began serving their first three-year terms, having been elected at the annual meeting, along with Joyce Craft and Brandon Scott.

The discussion involved changing attitude towards how United Way of Garland County can stay afloat for the next 100 years and getting more individuals involved in what United Way does. President Kelly Bales and United Way staff fueled the board with anticipation and preparation for the upcoming events, such as Day of Caring, the Pillar Party and the campaign.

If everyone can be involved, "Great Things Happen When We Live United!"
