Partners of the Park and community churches will present the Eighth Annual Easter Celebration, "Alive," at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on Arlington Lawn in Hot Springs National Park.
Originally labeled "Son-rise at Cedar Glades" and held on top of the mountain at Cedar Glades Park, the play re-enacts the last week of Jesus of Nazareth.
The presentation will combine narration, music, liturgical dance and actors in period costumes. The original drama is based on the gospels of the New Testament, written by the Rev. Fred W. Hunter, and narrated by the Rev. Lacy Sellers.
The production will be staged by volunteers who will act, sing and dance, as well as provide the sound and staging.
Seating is limited. Viewers should bring lawn chairs or ground cover. Everyone is welcome.
