The clinic providing 6,000 under-insured patients at the Alamodome, in San Antonio, April 8-10, with free vision (including glasses), dental, medical (including surgical), pharmacy, laboratory services, and even massages and haircuts, will be the feature report at the monthly Hot Springs Vegetarian Supper Club meeting at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Fellowship Hall at Seventh-day Adventist Church, 401 Weston Rd.

More than 1,700 volunteers, largely professionals, from all over the country, including a number of Hot Springs residents, gave of their time and resources, providing their own lodging and travel expense, to make this Seventh-day Adventist-sponsored event a witness to God's love.

Dr. Rheeta Stecker will head a panel discussion focusing on the benefits experienced by the attendees at the supper club from the information shared from month to month, including the implementation of a whole plant food diet. The panel will be prepared to answer healthy lifestyle/nutrition questions.

Visitors are welcome to the vegetarian meal, and the friendliness and shared recipes for the various dishes make this a delightful experience for anyone. Admission is free.
