Currey - Patterson
Les and Mary Currey, of Hot Springs, announce the engagement of their daughter, Dorothy Jeanette "Jet" Currey, to Gareth Edward Patterson, of Bryant. He is the son of Michael Patterson, of Bryant, and Nicola Patterson, of Alexander.
The bride-elect is a graduate of Lake Hamilton High School; and a magna cum laude honors graduate of the University of Arkansas where she received Bachelors of Science in Biology and Psychology. She was a recipient of the Sturgis Fellowship, and a member of U of A Ambassadors and Inspirational Chorale. She will attend UAMS College of Medicine in August.
Her fiance is a graduate of Bryant High School; and the University of Arkansas where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design. He is employed as a photographer with the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
The wedding will be June 20 at Autumn Ridge Plantation, Fayetteville.
