Dear editor: Wants wedding ring returned

Dear editor:

This is an open letter to the person, who stole my wedding ring on Thursday, Nov. 5, 2015.

It may seem to you that you have gotten away with something, that you will lay low for a while and things will quiet down and you'll be able to relax. You have committed a felony.

You can never pawn it. The ring is unique. It was made especially for me by a jeweler who said he'd never made another one like it. You can never pawn it. There are mechanisms in place to apprehend you if this ever happens. You will then have a police record and I will press charges against you.

I want my wedding ring back.

If you return it, I will not ask any questions or press charges against you. All you have to do is return it.

I will go about my business and you about yours. I will not point fingers or mention it ever again.

Return my ring to my office where you stole it from.
