Vapor Valley Questers recently presented "Toys of Yesteryear" to Hot Springs Sunrise Rotary. The program showcased toys, games, books, etc., collected from the late 1890s to the 1970s, along with research on writers and inventors of selected items. All toys were donated to the Hillary Rodham Clinton Children's Library and Learning Center in Little Rock. To book this program, contact Beth Goeden, 922-3157.

Vapor Valley has a 45-minute presentation on "Capt. Field Kindley, War Bird Ace." Tracing the exploits of this young aerial warrior from Gravette deepens people's understanding of this first worldwide conflict, the heroic actions of many men, and especially the beginning of war in the air. To book this program, contact Mary Ellen Gardner, 922-5828.

Vapor Valley Questers meet monthly, from September through May, with membership in Hot Springs and Hot Springs Village. This nonprofit international organization is dedicated to the study, conservation and preservation of historical objects.

The objective of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Sunrise Rotary meets at 7 a.m. Tuesdays at Embassy Suites Hot Springs.
