Glen and Marcille Coston, of Malvern, will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with an open house from 2-4 p.m. today at Wildwood Event Center, 1721 MLK Blvd., Malvern. Friends, neighbors and family are welcome. No gifts, please.
The couple were married Oct. 1, 1955, in Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church with Brother C.T. Hulsey officiating. Glen Coston is a U.S. Army Korean War veteran, retired command sergeant major of the Arkansas National Guard and retired superintendent of Magnet Cove Public Schools. Marcille Coston is a retired librarian of Magnet Cove Public Schools.
They are the parents of Brad Coston, of Little Rock, and Brian and Martha Coston, of Malvern; and grandparents of Camille Coston, Emily Coston and Elliot Coston.
Don and Dolores Gerstein, of Hot Springs, celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.
The couple were married Sept. 12, 1953, in Waukegan, Ill., with the Rev. Joseph A. Garrity officiating. Garrity also officiated over the marriage of the bride's parents in 1930. Don Gerstein works for AmTote at Oaklawn Park during live racing. They are members of St. Mary of the Springs Catholic Church.
They are the parents of Kathryn Moberg, of McHenry, Ill., and Don Gerstein Jr., of Deer Lodge, Mont.; grandparents of Becky and Addison Gerstein and Angelina Horn; and great-grandparents of Grier and Nevaeh Gerstein and Lilly Horn.
