Dear editor: The silent treatment

Dear editor:

In comment to Wednesday's Sept. 23, 2015, letters to the editor, I'm in total agreement with Mr. Myron Listrom and, a matter of fact, also Mr. Charlie Coburn. Mr. Listrom's facts, I would say, are to the tee with what facts I have read and kept up with so far on the 18-month-old baby Thomas Naramore, who died in his father's car of "excessive heat."

We, the people, public, citizens of Hot Springs or anywhere, expect to hear from you! This whole "hush-hush, silent treatment" and hope it will all just go away in a nice way, is not acceptable at all! This child now has no voice at all.

Myself, my family, community has had this "not known" child's heart in our prayers and on our minds way too long. I think about little Thomas and what his little mind had to of been thinking on that day. It was so "hot!" This child can't be forgotten about. He can't be hushed, he can't be silent! He is a child of the King now in heaven. Someone needs to be his voice. We want to be his voice and to be heard!

How long will baby Thomas' voice be silent? Huh? Does anyone know? We haven't heard and it's been since July 24, 2015. My heart breaks for him (Thomas). It is time, as Mr. Listrom stated, for someone to step up to the plate, like now! So far, we do see "special treatment" being given to Judge Wade Naramore. Come out of your closet and man up! That closet is very dark, hot and lonely. That is, unless there is something else that you're "afraid" of? Oh, or did you forget that too?

We love you, baby Thomas. You are forever in our prayers. You will be heard! Someone will be responsible for you.

Mary Smith
