Quilting event for Humane Society animals
Bernina sewing machine manufacturer is working with its U.S. dealers to host sewing events with local shelters to create kennel quilts to comfort pets waiting for their forever home.
A Best Friends kennel quilt sewing event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at Hickory Hill Quilts, 327 N. Highway 7. The public is welcome to come in and sew kennel quilts for the animals at the Humane Society of Garland County. The event is free and all materials will be provided.
