Lake Hamilton High School alumni Sheldon Shinn, left, and Skylar Watson recently presented and competed at the 2016 annual meeting of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers in San Francisco. Shinn and Watson graduated in 2015 and are now students in the Honors College at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. The AIChE Annual Meeting is a forum for chemical engineers interested in innovation and professional growth. Academic and industry experts cover a wide range of topics relevant to cutting-edge research, new technologies and emerging growth areas in chemical engineering.
