Hannah Slajer, left, 2015 Miss Fountain Lake, congratulated Donnie Arendt for being named 2016 Mr. Fountain Lake. The school held the annual Mr. Fountain Lake Pageant as a fundraiser for the Class of 2016. The pageant consisted of 14 males from the senior class. Arendt received a $100 prize and won Most Talented with a prize of $20 to Home Plate and two movie tickets to Cinema 10. Ethen Lingo was announced as first runner-up with a prize of a $60 date for two to Rolando's. Lingo also won Mr. Congeniality with a prize of four free rounds of mini golf at Pirates Cove. Ethan Simpson received the People's Choice Award with a prize of two dinners to The Shack. Approximately $2,000 was raised in all. The event was sponsored by Lynn Janaskie, Melody Gilleran and Mary Sargo. The emcees were Hannah Slajer, and Vanessa Nobles, a senior at Fountain Lake Charter High School.
