A Malvern man died Saturday morning as a result of injuries he sustained in a motorcycle wreck Friday on Highway 270 west in Hot Spring County, according to an Arkansas State Police report.
Christopher Motes, 36, riding a 2011 Honda motorcycle, was westbound on 270 near Jones Mill shortly before 3:30 p.m. Friday when he reportedly lost control in a curve and left the roadway.
Motes was transported by LifeNet to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs where he was pronounced dead at 11:09 a.m. Saturday, the report states. It was noted road conditions were clear and dry at the time of the wreck.
