A performance by multi platinum-selling country artist Joe Diffie highlights this year's Spa Blast presented by Budweiser on July 1 in the infield at Oaklawn Racing & Gaming.
Gates open at 4 p.m. and a full slate of live music will begin at 5 p.m. before culminating with the region's best fireworks display.
With chart-toppers like "Pickup Man," "Third Rock from the Sun" and "John Deere Green," 13 albums and more than 20 Top 10 singles to his credit, Diffie is one of the most beloved country music singers around, a news release said.
He is also a noted song writer and has pinned hits for such artists as Tim McGraw, Conway Twitty and Jo Dee Messina. The Grammy and CMA award-winning performer most recently found himself squarely back in the hearts and minds of his fans thanks to Jason Aldean's hit single "1994," which references many of Diffie's chart toppers from that year.
In addition to the live music and fireworks, Spa Blast will feature a Kids Zone with a rock wall and inflatable rides, a petting zoo and Middleton Heat & Air Mist Zone. Blankets and lawn chairs will be admitted, but coolers are prohibited.
