Family and consumer sciences teacher Carrie Bloomquist, center, and the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America club at Fountain Lake Charter High School recently sponsored a blood drive at the school. Club members worked at the blood drive from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. registering donors, providing information and refreshments, and handing out shirts. Donors contributed 25 units of blood to local hospitals and community patients. The school hosts two blood drives each year.
