Hot Springs High senior Kamar Brown, left, poses with former professional football players Ike Thomas, middle, and James "Duck" White at the school Tuesday. Thomas graduated from Langston High School, now a part of Hot Springs School District, and played for the Dallas Cowboys' first Super Bowl championship team in 1971. Drafted in the second round out of Bishop College, he had two kickoff returns for touchdowns in his rookie season with the Cowboys and later played for the Green Bay Packers and Buffalo Bills. White, a Hot Springs High graduate, played for Oklahoma State and went to the Minnesota Vikings in the first round of the 1976 NFL draft, playing for the club until 1983. A four-year letterman at Oklahoma State, White played for teams that beat Arkansas three years in a row.
