Hot Springs police and fire personnel work the scene of a collision between a Ford Taurus and a tractor-trailer rig that occurred shortly after noon Wednesday near the intersection of the access road off East Grand Avenue and Kelton Street. The truck driver, Nick Dison, with Milton Excavating, was reportedly westbound and attempting to turn left off the access road when he collided with the eastbound Taurus, driven by Pamela Howard, 44, of Mountain Pine. Howard, who was cited for no insurance, and her passenger were transported by LifeNet to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs and Dison, who was not injured, was cited for failure to yield, according to HSPD Officer Robert Plyler.
