Children's egg hunt slated Saturday

HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE -- The Easter "Eggstra" Fun Day 2016 event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday at the Cortez Pavilion, 181 Carmona Road.

Children will be able to enjoy an Easter egg hunt with more than 12,000 eggs to be found. There will also be games, bunny pictures and concessions available. The event is free and open to the community.

Animal Welfare League holds ladies night out

The Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League will hold the ladies night out event "Girls Gotta Howl!" from 5-9 p.m. Tuesday in the Coronado Community Center, 150 Ponderosa Way.

Featured will be food, drinks, a chocolate fountain, vendor booths for shopping, more booths for a little pampering, an auction of special items, style show, and an unforgettable climactic ending.

Tickets are $20 each, and can be purchased at Dogwood Tree, 25255 Highway 5; LBG Lighting, 105 Calella Road; and Melinda's Coffee Corner, 4409 Highway 7. Reserved tables for eight can be set up by calling Julie Keck at 501-915-9986.

Partner Up lunch set for Wednesday

The next Hot Springs Village Area Chamber of Commerce Partner Up! networking lunch will be from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday in Moonshiners Family Restaurant and Tavern, 3958 Highway 7 north.

The cost is $12, and seats can be reserved by calling 501-915-9940.

This month's event is being sponsored by Abilities Unlimited of Hot Springs.

Attendees are welcome to bring their business cards to be entered for a door prize drawing.
