Dear editor:
I am compelled to ask why Lake Hamilton High School is holding its graduation ceremonies at Bank of the Ozarks Arena instead of using their brand-new multimillion dollar Lake Hamilton Wolves Arena? It would be nice to see our tax dollars used responsibly, rather than wasted on rent for a duplicate facility that is miles away from the school.
The most many of us "neighbors of the school" have gotten from our millage dollars is increased traffic blocking the streets every afternoon, construction noise and dust, more lights at night, and a daily dose of rock music from their new, overpowered speakers.
