The holiday season is a time of giving and that's just what Nedra Plumlee and her fellow agents of Crye-Leike, Realtors are doing. Sponsored by Plumlee, the "I Care" Toy Drive is in its 12th year. Plumlee began this toy drive in 2004 as a way of giving back to the community she calls home.
Last year, with the help of her fellow agents and a special secret Santa, hundreds of toys were donated and delivered to nearly 100 children in close to 30 families granting their Christmas wishes of anything from books to bicycles. Christmas will be difficult for many families this year and will cause them to go without. Citizens can help us keep this from happening.
Plumlee would like to welcome the public to stop by the Crye-Leike office at 1420 Central Ave., Suite C, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday-Friday and choose an ornament from the Christmas tree to make a child's wishes come true. All donations should be delivered to the office by Dec. 13, 2016. "Every time a bell rings, an angel gets its wings." "Thank you in advance for being a Christmas Angel to a child in need," states the press release.
