A second suspect was arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple felony charges in connection with an alleged home invasion and armed robbery on March 30.

Khory Tyreke Lemons, 19, who lists a Higdon Ferry Road address, was taken into custody shortly after 4 p.m. and charged with aggravated residential burglary and aggravated robbery, each punishable by up to life in prison, and criminal attempt at kidnapping, punishable by up to 30 years.

Lemons was being held without bond Thursday and is set to appear May 2 in Garland County District Court.

An alleged accomplice, Demontriez Kaeshawn Neal, 18, who lists a Sixth Street address, was arrested the day of the incident on the same charges and was also being held without bond.

According to the affidavit, on March 30, shortly after 11:30 a.m., a local woman, 52, called 911 to report three armed black males had attempted to rob her son at his residence on Chelle Street about two hours earlier, but he was able to flee to her house just up the street.

She said she saw the three suspects flee the scene in a small, green two-door passenger car. She noted one of the suspects had hit her son in the head with a handgun causing injuries, and he was transported to the hospital before Hot Springs police officers arrived at the scene.

She told police the same suspects had robbed her son previously and she had information they were at a residence on Wood Street. Officers responded to Wood Street and spotted a green 1998 Volkswagen Golf in the driveway at 216 Wood St. with several black males inside.

As the officers approached, the males, including Neal and a juvenile male, got out of the car and were detained at the scene. Neal had a warrant, so he was taken into custody and officers reportedly located three shotgun shells in his pocket.

Meanwhile, officers made contact with the victim, 35, at the hospital and he stated the three suspects had entered his home through his unlocked front door and demanded money. He said one was armed with a handgun, one with a shotgun and the third had "a weapon with a long clip believed to be a short, handheld rifle."

He told them he didn't have any money, so they forced him to go outside at gunpoint so they could take him to some ATMs to get money. He said one suspect went to get the car while the other two held him at gunpoint and he was able to push away from them and flee to his mother's house.

HSPD Detective Scott Lampinen responded to Wood Street and made contact with the female owner of the Volkswagen, who stated she had allowed the juvenile male to drive her car and he had dropped her off at court earlier that morning. She learned of the home invasion and implicated the juvenile, Neal and Lemons, who was not on the scene.

The victim's mother was brought to the scene and reportedly identified Neal as one of the men she had seen fleeing in the car, but was unsure of the other males being detained.

The victim, after he was treated for a laceration to his head and released from the hospital, came to the police department and observed Neal from another room and allegedly identified him as the suspect with the shotgun.

On April 11, the victim came to the police department again and was shown a photo lineup including Lemons and five other similar males. He picked Lemons out "without hesitation" and stated he was the suspect in possession of the handgun with a long clip he had originally thought was a handheld rifle.

Lemons was previously convicted Dec. 6, 2016, after pleading guilty in Garland County Circuit Court to theft by receiving more than $25,000 and felony failure to appear and was sentenced to six years probation on each count, to run concurrently, fined $2,000 and ordered to pay $790 in court costs.

The charges stemmed from his arrest on April 25, 2016, when he was caught driving a stolen car and then fled on foot after a traffic stop only to be apprehended hiding behind a bush in the area.
