Cutter Morning Star High School sophomore Chris Hardister, front, was joined by counselor Jennifer Coats, back, left, and Deborah Giusti, gifted and talented coordinator, in donating blood during a recent Arkansas Blood Institute drive in which 31 donors, including 15 first-time donors, participated. The drive was sponsored by Michelle Neighbors and the school's student council. Students can earn an honor cord and a certificate of community service by donating six times or more before they graduate.
