Students, employees and members of the Mountain Pine community gathered Thursday evening for the yearly practice of releasing balloons in celebration of the 17th annual Dr. Morriss Memorial Carnival on campus. Students throughout Garland County will return to campus on Monday for the first day of the 2017-18 school year.
