Arkansas Blood Institute will conduct blood drives at the following locations and times during the week:
• Today -- 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., First Lutheran Church, 105 Village Road.
• Wednesday -- 1- 5:30 p.m. Ouachita Schools Safe Room, Donaldson.
• Friday -- 1-5 p.m., Hot Springs Village, Ponce de Leon Room A.
Donors must be at least 16 years old and have a photo I.D. Donors will receive a festive long-sleeved Reindeer Holiday T-shirt and refreshments. All blood types are needed, especially Types O and A negative during this peak season for blood needs and donors who are not as readily available. The West Central Arkansas Planning and Development District Board of Directors will meet at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at The Hotel Hot Springs.
