National Park College will host its College Exploration Day Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the atrium of the Frederick M. Dierks Center for Nursing and Health Sciences.
College Exploration Day is an opportunity for students to visit with representatives from colleges and universities throughout the region, explore transfer options and gather information about academic programs, admission requirements and student life.
The event is hosted by National Park University, which was designed to expand partnerships with four-year colleges and universities across the state.
"Transferring and earning a bachelor's degree is one of the ways our students can achieve success," said Yolanda Mitchell, NPU director. "We want them to be aware of all the opportunities awaiting them after graduation, and our goal is to make their transition as easy as possible."
Confirmed attendees include Arkansas Baptist College, Arkansas Tech University, Baptist Health College, Harding University, Henderson State University, John Brown University, University of Arkansas, University of Arkansas at Fort Smith, University of Arkansas at Little Rock, University of Arkansas at Monticello, University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and University of Central Arkansas.
