Dear editor:
There seems to be a lot of fuss and noise about Confederate statues and monuments in the Southern states resulting in removal of Confederate monuments. And plans to remove them all over time.
This movement is an effort to change our history. A far better solution seems to be to design and install statues and monuments representing blacks (South and North) which would enhance and better represent our real history, rather than destroy true representations of our past.
