MALVERN -- A Malvern man driving a moped was killed Tuesday when he collided with another vehicle on Highway 270 at Del Rio Loop in Hot Spring County, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatal crash summary released Wednesday.
Lyndal Wuertz, 76, was reportedly westbound on Highway 270 shortly after 5:30 p.m. on a 2011 Honda moped when he attempted to turn left and ran into the side of an eastbound 2012 Dodge pickup.
Wuertz was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:10 p.m. by Hot Spring County Deputy Coroner Arron Davis, the report states. Road conditions were listed as clear and dry at the time of the wreck.
