CHI St. Vincent has
new market director of care management
CHI St. Vincent has named Sue Hopkins to market director of care management. She will be responsible for care management at the Infirmary, Hot Springs and North hospitals.
Hopkins obtained a Bachelors of Nursing at St. Joseph's College. For more than 18 years, she worked as an RN in the Emergency Department at Silver Cross Hospital. She then developed one of the first ED case manager roles at Ingalls Hospital. Hopkins moved to MacNeal Hospital, working as a case manager in Pediatrics and the Emergency Department before assuming the role of director of case management in 2010. She then served as vice president of case management for the MacNeal four-hospital system.
Hopkins is a board-certified case manager and has led previous hospitals through care management program development, resulting in decreased daily census and length of stay.
