HSHS graduate appointed to Oral Roberts VP position

TULSA, OKLA. -- Clarence Boyd, a Hot Springs native and graduate of Hot Springs High School, was recently appointed to the position of vice president of student life at Oral Roberts University.

Boyd earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1977, his Master of Arts in Practical Theology in 1998 and Doctor of Ministry 2002, all from Oral Roberts University. He is the president and founder of Revelations-Revealed Truth Ministries, which aims to provide mentoring to young people with an emphasis on helping young men understand the role and responsibility of manhood.

He is also the founder of Revelations-Revealed Truth Evangelistic Center, a local church in Tulsa. Ministry to the family is one of the priorities of the church.

Boyd is an author and aims to speak to the next generation of men about fatherhood, manhood and masculinity. He is also a Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

His wife, Kim Boyd, serves as dean of the College of Education at Oral Roberts. They are the parents of four Oral Roberts graduates and seven grandchildren.
