Arkansas Blood Institute will hold a blood drive from 8 a.m. to noon today at the Coronado Center in Hot Springs Village.
Donors must be at least 16 years old and have a photo I.D. Donors will receive a Hog Wild T-shirt, health screening, and refreshments. All donations support Arkansas hospitals, with priority to the two area general acute-care hospitals. Donors may credit a patient at any hospital who has or needs a blood transfusion. There is no substitute for blood, which has a 42-day expiration date. Donors can give every eight weeks.
