Bi-stake devotional at LR LDS church
A bi-stake devotional will be held at 6 p.m. today at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' Otter Creek Stake Center, 13901 Quail Run, Little Rock. Elders Michael Gillenwater, Shayne Bowen and Whiney Clayton, members of the Quorum of the Seventy, will preside.
St. Phillips celebrates 81st anniversary
St. Phillips Church of God in Christ, 237 Walnut St., will celebrate its 81st church anniversary at 3 p.m. Sunday. Willie Brown, pastor of Barnes Temple COGIC in Pine Bluff, will be the guest speaker. The service theme will be "Thanking God for the Past and Pressing Forward to the Future." The service is open to the public.
Friends and Family Day at St. Mark Baptist Church
St. Mark Baptist Church, 542 Crescent, will observe its annual Friends and Family Day at 3 p.m. Sunday. The guest will be Pastor Alvin Hunter and Lonoke Baptist Church of Hope. The theme is "The Privilege of Being with Friends and Family." Everyone is welcome.
