Cutter Morning Star Elementary's fifth-grade chess team competed in the Nov. 6 Dawson Education Service Cooperative Chess Tournament at Henderson State University. Several students on the team placed in the tournament including Brody Spears who took second place, and third-place winners Ayden Gillespie, Mya Elliott, Hannah Neighbors, Anne Claire Richardson, and McKenzie Sieck.
