A pedestrian was struck by a car while attempting to cross Higdon Ferry Road near Oaklawn Park Wednesday morning, according to Hot Springs police.
Eligio Pascual, 77, of Hot Springs, was crossing Higdon Ferry walking east shortly before 9 a.m. when he was struck by a southbound 2002 Honda Accord driven by Keasha Morgan, 21, of Hot Springs, Officer 1st Class Joey Williams said.
Pascual was injured and transported by LifeNet to CHI St. Vincent Hot Springs. Morgan was cited for driving on a suspended driver's license and failure to yield to a pedestrian, Williams said.
