BREAKING NEWS: Body found in vacant lot

Brother Craig Few, 70, of Hot Springs, Ark., passed away on Jan. 11, 2018.

He was born in Chicago, Ill., on Sept. 26, 1947, to William Few and Marian Few.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Daisy Few; his two daughters, Michelin Moore and Kimberly Few; and his two granddaughters, Makiya and Mazanee Moore. He is also survived by one Aunt, Mae Few; ten cousins, and host of other relatives and friends.

Craig accepted Jesus Christ as his savior at the age of 17 and served as a deacon for 43 years with New Nazareth Missionary Baptist and Shiloah Baptist Churches of Chicago, Ill.

After retiring to Hot Springs in 2010 he became a faithful member of Lake Hills Free Will Baptist Church.

Craig graduated from Dunbar Vocational High School and also earned a degree in paramedic medicine.

Before serving 20 years as a paramedic with the Chicago Fire Department, from which he retired in 2010, he held several positions, including driving a cab, newspaper truck and charter bus.

Craig loved people and always left an impression wherever he went.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Jan. 15, 2018, at Lake Hills Free Will Baptist Church on Airport Road. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will follow immediately at Hollywood Cemetery in Hot Springs.

Pastor John Reed will officiate.
