Disabled American Veterans Chapter 05 AR, representing Garland County and parts of Hot Spring, Clark and Montgomery counties, announces the availability of scholarships to any accredited, technical school, two-year college or four-year college in the state of Arkansas.
The scholarships may be applied for by any DAV member, current spouse, child or grandchild of a member. There are up to $8,000 scholarships available at $1,000 per semester for full time four-year college students, with reduction for less than full time, two-year and technical schools.
Applications may be obtained at the Hot Springs DAV office, 401 Mid America Blvd., in person or by email at [email protected]. Applicants will be required to provide a DAV membership number or relationship to the member.
All applications must be received by 2 p.m. Feb. 15 at the Hot Springs DAV office whether in person, emailed or mailed.
