Knapp brings dance project to Henderson

ARKADELPHIA -- Henderson State University will host the Debra Knapp Dance Project Feb. 5-9.

Knapp will teach dance master classes in the Arkansas Hall Dance Studio from 1:30-2:45 p.m. Feb. 6 and 3-4:15 p.m. on Feb. 8. The classes are free and open to the public.

Rehearsals with the Henderson Dance Company will be 5-9 p.m. Feb. 5-8. The rehearsals are open to the public for observation.

An "informance" displaying the new work and providing an opportunity for audience feedback will be Feb. 9 at 3 p.m.

Knapp is a professor, College of Education dean's fellow, and has served as director of dance at New Mexico State University. She serves as a certified teacher in the Evans' Dance Pedagogy Method.
