The city's paving program will begin Monday on Polk Place off East Grand Avenue.
Traffic controls will be in place and motorists are asked to exercise caution when traveling near project areas.
About 28 streets, depending on field conditions, are planned to be paved with funds from the city's Street Division budget and from an Arkansas Department of Transportation State Aid street grant.
The total street paving budget is $989,807.
