Standoff

The 200 block of Vineyard St. was cordoned off for more than seven hours Sunday as Hot Springs Police tried to negotiate a peaceful end to a standoff. Patrick said about five units responded to a welfare check call around 10 a.m. Police Chief Jason Stachey said, "We want to peacefully resolve the situation and get the gentlemen inside some help.
