Emergency personnel work the scene of a collision between a motorcycle and a car near the intersection of Garland and Central Avenue shortly after 10:30 a.m. Wednesday. Ruben Ramirez, 65, of Texas, was northbound on Central on a motorcycle when it was struck by the car, driven by Samuel Henderson, 67, of Hot Springs, as it was pulling out of a parking lot. Ramirez was transported to an area hospital and was in stable condition. Henderson was charged with failure to yield and no proof of liability insurance.
